Wednesday, 26 Dec 1962, pg. 4, “"MRS. OTTO STICKEL Mrs. Lola Austin Stickel, 74, of 302 East Fayette St., died at 3:30 a.m. today in Connellsville State General Hospital. She was born Aug. 9, 1888, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Hiram and Rhoda Cable Austin, and had been a lifelong resident of this vicinity. She was a member of the First Brethren Church of Uniontown. Surviving are her husband, Otto; four children, Richard and Thomas of Poplar Grove, Carl of Breakneck Ave. and Mrs. Mason (Mildred) Whipkey of Connellsville; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Munk funeral home after 7:30 p.m. today. A funeral service will be held there on 2 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. H. Morris Shields officiating. Interment will be in Green Ridge Memorial Park.
