Obituary - Roxie M. VanWinkle
Services for Roxie M VanWinkle, 67, of 135 Elmwood Ave., who died Wednesday in Newark Hospital, will be held at 2:30 p. m. Saturday in the chapel in Criss Brothers Funeral Home,with the Rev. Lucious Argoue conducting the service. Interment in Wilson Cemetery.
Mrs. VanWinkle came to Newark 18 months ago from Cleveland where for a number of years she was employed in the sales department of the Bailey Department Store.. She had been seriously ill three weeks.
Born Feb 24.. 1S93. in Mary Ann Township, Licking County, she was the daughter of Henry J. and Mary Jane Stickle.
Surviving are two daughters and three three sons. Mrs Harry Pound of Newark, Mrs. Robert Cramer and Wilmer VanWinkle of Pataskala; Martin and
Henry Van Winkle of Cleveland also 27 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one brother, Oren Stickle of Newark. Three brothers are deceased. She was a member of Wilkin Run Grange. Friends may call at the funeral home.
