Mrs. Hannah E. Stickels.

Died, at her home in Creston, Monday, May 2, 1910, Hannah Elizabeth Stickels, sister of A. M. Griffin of this county. Funeral services were held in Creston and the body brought to Osceola where another service took place in the M. P. church at 11 o'clock this morning. Interment in Pleasant Ridge cemetery.

Deceased was born in Butler county, Pennsylvania, October 16, 1844, married D. L. Stickels, February 26, 1861 in Livingston county, Illinois; came to Osceola, Iowa, in the fall of 1879 and went to live in Creston in 1883. She was the mother of nine children, four of whom died in infancy. Those living are- Lavina Miles and A. H Stickels of Afton; Mary Howard, Hattie King and R. L. Stickels of Creston. She leaves three brothers and two sisters. Her brother, A. M. Griffin, was present at her death and her sister, Mrs. Minnie Murdock, came from Streator, Illinois. Her illness dates from last Friday when she visited her daughter at Cottage hospital. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of all.
