Comments: Anna Clarinda Stickel, 87, of New York City, died September 21, 1945 in NYC where she had been making her home with her niece, Suella Kroell. The body was cremated there and the ashes sent to Monticello for burial. Rev. Harold Thrall officiated at the graveside services.
She was born in Monticello the d/o Daniel and Annabel Piatt Stickel, pioneer family. For many years she was prominent in church and music circles here. For a number of years she made her home in Mansfield with her sister, Mrs. Kroell, and for the past eight years had been living in New York City.
