Mention was made in brief of the marriage of Harley Cook and Miss Mary Hunter, Thursday, Oct. 25, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Hunter, occured the marraige of Mary Louise Hunter to Harley A. Cook, Rev. Frazer, pastor of the Presbyterian church of this city, performing the ceremony. Only intimate friends and relatives were present. Miss Hunter is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hunter and Mr. Cook is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Cook of this city. Both families have been lifelong acquaintances and friends. The young couple will reside at their home west of the city now being erected.

Mary J. Cook

Mary J. Cook, widow of Harley A. Cook, Route 3, a lifelong resident of the Cedar Rapids area, died at her home Sunday following a sudden illness.

She was born July 28, 1878, at the same address at which she died.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clarence J. Kissling of Marion, and two sons, Nelson H. Cook of Hiawatha and Robert D. Cook of Central City. She was preceded in death by a third son, Jackson G. Cook, in May.

Mrs. Cook was a member of the Shiloh Methodist church.

Services: Turner chapel at 3 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. J. P. Hunter. Burial: Shiloh cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
