Comments: Andrew Stickles m. Elizabeth. On 16 Feb 1815 (C2:457) Andrew and Elizabeth conveyed two tracts, one subject to a "dower right" to Zachariah Stickles and Philip Stickles. These two lots were the 2/10 interest in lots 1 and 3 of the original half interest of the Stickles homestead farm of the first Zachariah Stickles. There are no further land transactions for Andrew and Elizabeth in Sussex County. Andrew was deceased before 21 Mar 1831 when Zachariah Stickles and his wife, Susan and Abraham Stickles conveyed all their rights in lots 1 and 3 of the original Stickles homestead farm to Philip Stickles (L3:5) and Zachariah Stickles (L3:7). Zachariah and Abraham were the two sons of Andrew and Elizabeth and they were conveying the land in this deed to their two uncles, Philip and Zachariah. Since, Andrew and Elizabeth had conveyed their interests in this same land in 1815, it is believed that this was essentially a quit claim, the meaning of the earlier deed being obscure. The case involving the estate of Andrew's sister, Margaret Savacool names the "children of her deceased brother Andrew Stickles of Stillwater township." From these deeds Andrew and Elizabeth were both living 16 Feb 1815 and Andrew was deceased before 21 Mar 1831 as was perhaps Elizabeth.
