Obituary for Isaac Farmer
I. N. FARMER
Isaac Newton Farmer, 79, retired farmer, died today at 5:40
a. m. in his home in St. Louisville. He had been in failing health
three years and seriously ill a week.
A native of Licking county, he was born April 24,1869, the son of Isaac and Frances (Carr)
Farmer. He was married June 5, 1890. to Addie Stickle and they were parents of nine children.
Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Elben of Columbus, and Mrs. Gail Popham of
Utica; two sons. Lester and Robert Farmer of Newark; also 28 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren: one sister, Mrs. Rebecca
Richards of Newark. Four sons and one daughter are deceased.
Mr. Farmer was a member of the Eagles lodge of Newark.
The funeral will be held Friday at 1 :30 p. m. in the Householder funeral home and burial
will be made in Barnes cemetery. Rev. Frederick Brown will conduct the service. The body will
be moved to the family home Wednesday morning and Friday at 11:30 a. m. will be returned to
the funeral home.
