Born in Washington, District of Columbia (DC), USA	Occupation: Entered federal service (U.S. Government) as GS-2 in June 1962, just 10 days out of high school. Orginially worked as draftsman at the old Army Map Service, near Glen Echo, MD., after the Military and Vietnam I took a graphics' position with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) early in 1968. Attended Northern Virginia Community College, but never graduated. Continued working at DIA in various graphics and printing posions until I was selected for a Division Chief's job at Missile & Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) in Huntsville/Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (AL), USA in January 1986. I retired from DIA/MSIC as GS-14 with almost 36 years of service in December 1997. Military Service: Drafted into the U.S. Army in Feb 1966, returned from Viet Nam in Dec 1967 Interests: Avid Washington REDSKINS (Boo Dallas) fan, genealogy, golf, landscaping/ gardening, and travel.

It is believed that there is some connection to the Stickels of Winchester, Virginia but as of yet no connection has been found.	Residence History: I was raised in northern Virginia (Arlington) for most of my life. Married another northern Virginian (Barbara) in May 1965, and we have lived in Arlington, Fairfax and Loudoun Counties, Virginia for some 25 years. Relocated to Athens, Alabama (AL), USA in 1986 where we lived for some 12+ years. Moved to Foley, AL (just 12 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico) in June 2000, WHERE WE ARE STILL LIVING "THE DREAM."
